What is the Sun Chaser drink?

According to the drink’s official website, Sun Chaser is a non-alcoholic beverage with “feeling”, allowing for a “light buzz” with no hangover. The drinks are also vegan, caffeine-free, and gluten-free.

Sun Chaser is described as “enough to take the edge off but not enough to intoxicate you” and, apparently, most consumers feel “buzzed” after one drink! The feeling won’t, however, build on itself after two servings, the brand states.

The light feeling you may get after drinking a Sun Chaser comes from combining GABA, 5-HTP and L-Theanine, ingredients the brand claims promote stress relief.

The product has been featured in drinks publications such as Bevnet and Glamour, while YouTube channel Good Mythical Morning recently reviewed it.

Where to buy Sun Chaser and prices explained

All Sun Chaser products are available on the company’s official website.

At the time of writing, most products are sold out due to a large capacity of orders but you can join the waiting list to be notified when the drink is back in stock.

Currently, an eight-pack of the Hibiscus Sunrise drink is retailed at $37.50, on sale from $49.99. Likewise, a two-pack of the same drink, known as a sampler version, is $14.99 down from $19.99.

The company’s Buzz Blends, which are made with added seltzer, are currently priced at $18.00.

Sun Chaser also sell a handful of merch items.

Reviews of the alcohol drink explored

On Sun Chaser’s official website, not surprisingly reviews of the non-alcohol drink are mostly positive.

One reviewer wrote: “This drink is absolutely delicious. Not only is it a chill feeling, but it tastes really amazing. It felt like I was drinking a can of my favourite soda.”

Another shared: “Absolutely love these drinks. It’s finally nice to have a fun buzz without worrying about a hangover the next day. 10/10 taste and product!”

Somebody else, on the other hand, said they didn’t experience much of a buzz: “If you’re looking for a fun summer drink, it’s pricey but tasty. But if you’re looking for a buzz, it didn’t satisfy like I was hoping.”

Over on YouTube channel Good Mythical Morning, which boasts more than 17 million subscribers, the hosts shared: “My body feels weird… there’s tingles in my head.

“I’ve got a growing sense of ease, that’s the main thing.”

Rhett McLaughlin then talked about after-effects of feeling tired, adding: “I think I’d do this (drink Sun Chaser) again, but honestly I think I might just do it before I go to bed.”
