You’re fave 90s drinks are back
The Snapple Elements line of beverages first launched in April 1999 with four flavours inspired by the elements earth, air, fire and water.
The original four flavours were Earth (grape cranberry), Fire (dragonfruit), Sun (starfruit orange) and Rain (agave cactus). However, in the mid-2000s, the line was reportedly redesigned, and more flavours were added.
According to the Walk Memory Lane blog, some of the other flavours included Volcano (indigo grape), Sky (passion fruit) and Diet Air (prickly peach).
It is not known exactly when the line was discontinued however, as per comments on a 2008 blog post, the drinks appear to have been fazed out in the late 2000s.
Three flavours have returned for 2022, Fire, Rain and Air. Both Fire and Rain have the same original flavours however Air’s prickly pear flavour is new.
Snapple hinted at the line’s return in February as coloured posts representing the three drinks were uploaded to the drink brand’s Instagram feed. The beverages were finally revealed earlier this month:
