Christmas has come early because our two favourite things, McDonald’s and Mariah Carey, have done a collaboration. Let’s discover the value of the beanies from the collection and whether Beanie Babies will be involved.

For the 12 Days Of Christmas promotion, the festive queen is teaming up with the fast-food chain. The collaboration will give away free merchandise featuring Carey’s face and signature plus some free McDonald’s food deals.

This has led fans to wonder about the value of McDonald’s Beanie Babies and whether they will be available in the latest collab.

What’s the value of Beanie Babies?

The Golden Arches Beanie Babies have significantly risen in price and fans are shocked at the value of these little figures. You may have some hiding in your loft and, after reading the estimated worth of selected bears, you might want to clamber up there and brush off the dust.

Teenie Beanie Babies were extremely popular Happy Meal toys that were offered in McDonald’s promotions from 1997 to 2000. The 2021 Happy Meal promotion at McDonald’s, which ran for two months this year, also involved the Teenie Beanie Boos. These were given to customers who purchased a Happy Meal and there were 14 varieties of Beanie Babies available.

Some of the rarest and most expensive Beanie Babies include the originals: Ronald McDonald’s, Millennium The Bear, Neon Green Seahorse, Zip the Cat, and the Princess Diana bear.

Over the years, they’ve become increasingly popular among collectors, especially if you have a complete set in good condition.

Some other Beanie Babies that are selling on eBay for thousands include:

  • Curly the Bear – $9,500.
  • Mystic the Unicorn – $9,861.
  • Pinchers the Lobster – $10,000.
  • Valentina the Bear – $11,111.
  • Halo the Bear – $12,000.
  • The End the Bear – $14,000.
  • Hippity the Rabbit – $19,999.99.
  • Derby the Horse – $20,000.

A different type of beanie will be available for the Mariah Carey collaboration. A signed Mariah Carey beanie hat will be up for grabs today (Wednesday, 15 December 2021). There are 10,000 beanies being made available nationwide.

McDonald’s launches Mariah Carey menu

McDonald’s has introduced the ‘Mariah Menu‘ in collaboration with singer Mariah Carey for a 12-day promotion. For the 12 days before Christmas, Maccies lovers can get free food deals with a $1 app purchase until the night before Christmas. The free item on the ‘Mariah Menu’ for today, for example, is a bakery item.

The McDonald’s website states: “To celebrate our collaboration with Mariah Carey, two of our 12 daily deals will include access to free merchandise when the deals are redeemed using Mobile Order & Pay in the McDonald’s app.”

A couple of days before Santa makes his way down the chimney, on 21 December, McDonald’s is going to give away free T-shirts with Mariah Carey’s face on them. The free food item for 21 December is a Sausage and Egg McMuffin – so that’s a plus for you McMuffin fans.

“Kick off the holidays on a high note with Mariah Carey. Get a free McDonald’s favourite every day from 13 to 24 December with $1 minimum purchase, only in the app.”

What’s the yule rules?

Customers must spend at least $1 to get the daily free item, the entire purchase must be made through the McDonald’s app. It can be ordered to pick up or for delivery.

As the collaboration is so close to Christmas Day, sadly you won’t be able to get the merchandise in time for unwrapping your presents around the tree. Instead, merchandise such as the T-shirt will ship in February 2022.

This isn’t the first McDonald’s collaboration with a celebrity. The company has previously launched celebrity meals based on stars’ favourite orders, including the Saweetie Meal and Famous Orders with BTS, J Balvin and Travis Scott.
