Busch Light has teamed up with manufacturing giant John Deere to “raise awareness of the needs of American farmers” by selling limited edition For The Farmers cans – here’s everything you need to know about the beer’s release date and where to buy it near you.

Cases of the limited edition Busch Light were rolled out to retailers yesterday (Monday, 9 May 2022), according to a Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners’ YouTube video.

G&M Distributors president Adam Vitale told Yahoo News the cans are “now available” for a limited time “at local retailers, bars and restaurants that sell Busch Light”. 

In other words, if it doesn’t already sell Busch Light, your retailer won’t sell Busch Light x John Deere’s limited edition For The Farmers cans.

Will they be available only in the Midwest or nationwide? 

Vitale also said the cans would only be distributed in the Midwest. The federal government defines the Midwest as the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

But in the comments to its Instagram post about the collaboration, Busch Beer appears to have confirmed the John Deere cans will be coming to Florida, too.

And, responding to another comment, Busch Beer wrote: “They’re available nationwide! Reach out to your local wholesaler at abwholesaler.com to find where they’ll be sold near you.”

Others say the Busch Light x John Deere cans of beer will be available only from 16 May

However, media outlets have been reporting the special Busch Light x John Deere cans will only be available from 16 May. The sale will end on 3 July. That’s about seven weeks.

The Daily Scoop says they’ll be available “across the Midwest” during those dates. You can buy them at “participating retailers” from 16 May to 3 July, according to Ohio’s Country Journal.

The For The Farmers webpage on the Busch website says only that the brand looks forward “to continuing to give back to farmers in need”.

Busch says it will donate $1 to Farm Rescue for every pack sold, up to $200,000. Fans can take part in the donation scheme by buying a 24 or 30 pack of Busch Light John Deere cans.
