How do Hamilton and Delevingne know each other?

Given their respective high profiles on the celebrity scene in the US, it’s likely the two know each other.

Delevingne has been to F1 grands prix in the past.

That day, Hamilton started from pole position and looked set to take an easy win.

However, a late crash brought out the safety car, with his Mercedes team opting to take a second pitstop.

He came in for fresh soft tyres, but the team misjudged the gap he had to second place.

Hamilton emerged in third place behind teammate, and rival, Nico Rosberg and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.

Despite the fresher rubber, he was unable to overtake on the tight Monaco streets, finishing third.

He still went on to take the 2015 world title, his third triumph of seven to date.
