Jackie Walorski’s husband Dean is a school teacher

The late Indiana congresswoman was married to husband of almost three decades, Dean.

Dean is a school teacher who teaches music to students from kindergarten to sixth grade. As per Walorski’s congress site, he is a teacher within the Indiana city of Mishawaka.

The couple wed in 1995, and this year would have celebrated 27 years of marriage. Soon after they tied the knot, they served as missionaries in Romania. However, just as the couple were about to fly out, the organisation they were set to help out folded.

Walorski and her husband still ended up travelling to Romania and founded their own agency, which helped children in need by providing food and medical supplies.
