Newly confirmed Assistant Attorney General (by a majority of just 51 to 48) Kristen Clarke has not revealed information about her marital status to the public.
However, Clarke has a teenage son (15 or 16), about whom she spoke in her bid for the nomination.
“As I look to my own son […] I remain committed to the promise of working every day to build a world of equal opportunity for all”, she said in an opening statement.

She raised her son while serving three stints with federal civil rights teams and one as an assistant counsel for the NAACP Legal Defence and Educational Fund.
Five years ago, Clarke told ABA Journal that he “keeps me on my toes, and he inspires me”.
“A lot of the work that I do is motivated by the hope and desire that he gets to grow up in a world that’s a more fair place, and that he’ll have access to opportunity and not have racial barriers stand in his way.”
What is Kristen Clarke’s age?
Born in 1975, Clarke’s age is 45 or 46 at time of writing. However, her exact birth date is unknown.
Her parents migrated from Jamaica to the US in the early 1970s. As a result, Clarke grew up in Brooklyn, New York before attending Harvard University.
She is, however, only the second highest ranking Jamaican American woman in the Biden Administration – after Kamala Harris, whose father is Jamaican.

In his confirmation speech, President Joe Biden described Kristen Clarke as “one of the most distinguished civil rights attorneys in America”.
Who are Kristen Clarke’s parents?
In 2016, Clarke told Jenny Davis of ABA Journal that her parents “wanted their kids to have access to better schools and greater opportunities than what existed [in Jamaica]”.

However, according to Black Enterprise, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc is among the organisations that supported her nomination.
