Kasie Hunt was born on 24 May 1985 in Michigan, and is 36 years old.
She gained her bachelors degree in international affairs from The George Washington University, and then her MPhil in sociology from the University of Cambridge in England.
The veteran news anchor started out as a political reporter with the Associated Press, and then moved to work for NBC News.
She initially joined the NBC News network in 2013 and covered politics specifically, becoming political correspondent for MSNBC in 2014.

Hunt then moved to a new role as a Capitol Hill correspondent and anchored the show Kadie DC but changed to hosting Way Too Early in September 2020, which starts broadcasting at 5am ET.
Kasie Hunt’s big announcement
Hunt has just announced she is leaving Way Too Early on NBC. She stated at the end of the live broadcast this morning:
“This is going to be my final broadcast with all of you.”
This is also going to be her final broadcast on MSNBC and the network entirely as Hunt is leaving NBC news to move on to “new exciting projects”.
She thanked co-host Mika Brzezinski and fans who have been with her from the start.

Meet Kasie Hunt’s husband Matt Rivera
Kasie Hunt’s husband is fellow NBC news colleague Matthew Mario Rivera. He was born on 24 May 1982 in New York, and is 39 years old.
Rivera currently works as a senior digital producer for NBC News, specifically working on Meet The Press With Chuck Todd.
He gained his bachelors in journalism from New York University in 2004 and has enjoyed an incredibly impressive career.
Rivera previously worked as a video journalist for Moose Productions as well as a multimedia producer and reporter for The Wall Street Journal. After that he spent some time working as a professor and lecturer at New York University and then started working for NBC News in September 2010.
