The sad news was shared by Jay Woodall’s family yesterday that the Atlanta resident had passed away. Jay had recently been announced as missing, and his friends and family had reached out to the community for help finding him. We remember the life of Jay Woodall.

Jay Woodall was a personal financial representative from Atlanta, Georgia. He was working with Woodall Financial Advocates.
Woodall had studied English Literature at the University of Colorado in Boulder, as well as for an MBA in financial planning and services at Georgia State University.

He was dedicated to his work, initially working with Highland Capital Brokerage and then as a financial advisor for CUNA Mutual Group.
He also took time off between 2013 and 2018 to look after his elderly parents, putting his own life on pause to support them.
Atlanta resident found dead aged 51
Jay Woodall had recently been reported as missing. He was last seen at Grady High School at 6.30pm on 3 August.
His last known movements were going to a Shell gas station in Ponce De Leon Avenue about an hour later that evening.
Unfortunately, his family just announced Jay’s body was found on Wednesday night inside a vehicle.
The cause of his death is still being determined by the County Medical Examiner.
His sister, Melissa Woodall Curtis, shared this on her Facebook account:
“Thank you to everyone who has shared my post, reached out and prayed for our family in the search for my brother. It is with great sadness I announce that Jay’s body was found Wednesday night. An investigation is ongoing and our family greatly appreciates your prayers and thoughts during this time.”
