Friends on social media have announced George Unda, known for his role on Where The Bears Are, has died. As news of George Unda’s death is shared online, fans of the actor have looked back on his life and career.

However, the role wasn’t his first time on screen as he made his debut in 2012 film The Rookie And The Runner.
In 2014, Unda opened up on how being a part of Where The Bears Are had inspired him to pursue other acting opportunities.

Talking to GCN, he explained: “I’m considering possibly working with other friends on a new short film or separate film project.
“It’s still in discussion but, basically, I would like to create a dark comedy of sorts, not as slapsticky as Where The Bears Are but definitely up that line of humour.”
Elsewhere Unda was also a writer and wrote an article on social media culture for the Manhattan Digest.

George Unda’s Death announced on social media
The Where The Bears Are actor’s death was announced today, 23 June, by his friend Louie Gonzales on Facebook.
Gonzales shared the news in an emotional post with his friends as he admitted he and Unda had plans to meet up in the summer.
He began: “George Unda, it’s beyond sad to hear you are gone. We just recently spoke and were supposed to hang out this summer.
“Rest In Peace my friend, know that you were loved by so many! You had a lasting impression on me and taught me so much. I’m happy that I was able to call you my friend and share with you how much you meant to me. George Unda Perez.”
