ABBA songs have gone viral on TikTok this week. It appears that Gen Z have finally uncovered the cheesy brilliance that is Dancing Queen, Chiquitita and Mamma Mia. We show you the best of these TikTok’s challenges, including the one breath challenge, and the ABBA piano challenge. Mamma Mia, here we go again!
What is the ABBA piano song on TikTok?
Over the past few days people on TikTok have been making their own piano covers of ABBA’s song Chiquitita from their Voulez-Vous album.
The song was originally released in 1979 and sees Agnetha Faltskog on the main vocals. Chiquitita is an affectionate term for a woman, meaning ‘little one’ in Spanish.
This craze has spread all over TikTok and fans are loving the beautiful soaring melodies of the song.
You can see some of our favourites here and here.
This piano cover has been made into a soundbite and people are loving listening to it on repeat.

Dancing Queen one breath challenge
There has also been a challenge going around TikTok where you have to sing the chorus of Dancing Queen in one breath. However, the tune has also been changed so it has some really tricky intervals.
This challenge was reportedly started by Sammy Rae and has got everyone singing.
People are loving giving this challenge a go, and most fans are loving the new take on such an iconic song.
However, not everyone is as big a fan of people changing up the original ABBA melody.
We can’t wait to see what other ABBA songs are coming next. Perhaps Does Your Mother Know or Our Last Summer? It appears that ABBA still remain as popular as ever.
