The documentary covers a large portion of Lewis’s life, from his disadvantaged upbringing in West Ham, his time in Canada and his boxing career. Lewis was undefeated in his first 22 professional fights and even won an Olympic gold medal.

The documentary is described as a “sports story of the highest order – one about redemption and forgiveness, the power of tolerance, and the strength needed to overcome obstacles”.

Narrated by Dr Dre, this documentary seeks to bring a more personal and authoritative view to Lewis’s story. Appearances include Lewis himself, his wife, his friends and even his ‘nemesis’, Mike Tyson.

The documentary was directed by Rick Lazes and Seth Koch
