Yasmeen Fletcher is a 17-year-old actress, who was born in Orange County, California. Her family then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, when she was 3 years old. Her parents are Maysoun and Troy Fletcher, and she has a younger sister called Rosa.

In December 2018, Yasmeen relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actress.

Fletcher rumoured to be on Disney’s Ms Marvel cast

It has been rumoured that Yasmeen Fletcher is set to play Nakia Bahadir, friend of Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel in the upcoming 2021 Disney show.

However, there has been no official announcement regarding casting for Ms Marvel as of yet.

Yasmeen’s rumoured casting is just one of the latest proposed Ms Marvel roles that have sparked controversy with Marvel fans.

The controversy stems from the fact that Yasmeen would be a Christian actress playing the role of a Muslim character, which some fans have deemed inappropriate.

However, this is still just a casting rumour – we’re going to have to hold out a little longer to see the full confirmed list!
