Winston Duke is an actor best known for his role as M’Baku in Marvel films Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
Duke also starred in Jordan Peele’s 2019 movie, Us.
He was born in Argyle, Tobago, in 1986. However, Duke moved to the US with his mum and sister when he was nine years old.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Winston Duke mentioned that he worked several odd jobs while he was a young actor. These included waiting tables and working as a gift wrapper to make ends meet.
Duke graduated from Brighton High School in Rochester, New York in 2004. He finished his education at Yale School Of Drama where he received a Master Of Fine Arts in Acting and graduated in 2013.
Interestingly, he attended Yale at the same time as Black Panther co-star Lupita Nyong’o.
