Winsome Sears is an American politician who is running for lieutenant governor of Virginia. With success seemingly on its way, many followers want to know who her husband Terence Sears is.

The Republican lieutenant governor candidate appears to have beaten Hala Ayala in the race for the No. 2 spot in Virginia.

Victory would mean she has become the first woman and first black woman in Virginia’s history to take on this rewarding role.

However, a couple of precincts have yet to be counted before the final decision can be made – these will be collected by the end of the week, 5 November.

Terence live in Winchester, Virginia, with wife Winsome and stepchildren Katia E and Janel C. Winsome had three daughters but sadly her eldest passed away.

The couple always put their children first, which is the reason Winsome briefly left electoral politics after her eldest daughter, DeJon Williams, who was 18 at the time, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

The family moved to a more rural area of Winchester, Shenandoah Valley, which would suit their daughter’s needs better.

DeJon stopped taking her medication at 27 years old but had a fatal car accident. Her car clipped another vehicle, causing a multiple vehicle collision and she sadly passed away. Dejon had her two daughters with her, Victoria and Faith, who also died in the accident on 5 June 2012.
