Who did Denise Dowse play in Buffy The Vampire Slayer?

When Buffy and her friends were not tracking down vampires, demons, or other creatures, she and her friends were as normal as they could be high schoolers.

The vampire slayer and her pals were students of the show’s fictional school Sunnydale High. Buffy starts out as the new girl, having relocated to Sunnydale from Los Angeles.

The school is seen to be at the heart of the show and features across its seven seasons and is also where fans were introduced to Dowse’s character.

Buffy fans may recognize Dowse for her feature in the teen drama series as Sunnydale High English teacher Ms. Miller.

The late actress only featured in one episode

Dowse’s feature in Buffy The Vampire Slayer was brief, as the late star only appeared in one episode across the show’s seven seasons.

For those who can’t place the actress’ feature, she appears in the eleventh episode of the first season, Out of Mind, Out of Sight.

In the episode, an invisible creature causes chaos in the school as it terrorizes students and faculty. The Invisible attacker targets Ms Miller and, after ambushing her, leaves a warning message on her chalkboard

Those wanting to watch the episode in the late actress’ honor can stream the show on both Hulu and Disney+. All seven seasons of Buffy The Vampire Slayer are also available to buy on Amazon, where you can opt to purchase the entire series or individual episodes.
