Young Nudy released the video for the new album’s first single, 2Face featuring G Herbo, on 11 May, sparking interest in Dr Ev4l’s release date.
The 13-song project will also feature Nudy’s cousin, 21 Savage, and Pennsylvania rapper Lil Uzi Vert.

So, when is Young Nudy’s album dropping? The answer is today, 18 May. Posting on Instagram at about the 12am official release, Nudy simply wrote “out now” alongside a video of him parading around in tops and tails.
The artist threw a Halloween-themed party in Doraville, Georgia to coincide with the album launch. Among the guests was his cousin, 21 Savage.
Dr Ev4l is Nudy’s first full-length release since last year’s Anyways and his breakout 2019 mixtape Sli’merre.

The album artwork has turned heads for its decidedly spooky theme. The album cover features a dandy-esque Nudy sitting in a creepy forested area with a Chucky-like puppet on his knee, surrounded by hounds with skeletal heads.
The track list speaks to this theme, with songs dubbed Mini Me, Soul Keeper, Dr Evil and Walking Dead.

Born Quantavious Thomas, the 28-year-old has always been fascinated with the creepy vibe and even owns a dog called Chucky.
Released in February last year, Nudy’s album Anyways had a similarly creepy tone, the album cover featured skeletons and a chilling font.
Slimeball 3, from 2018, also featured a Chucky cartoon.
Is Nudy 21 Savage’s cousin?
Yes, and the pair are very close. As mentioned, 21 Savage was at his cousin’s album launch in Georgia last night (17 May).
Savage is also the reason Nudy is in the rap game. He convinced Nudy to feature on 2015’s Air It Out, which has since amassed more than 50 million YouTube views.

The pair were also arrested together in 2019. According to CBS News, via Pitchfork, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested British-born Savage in a targeted operation after claiming he’d been living in the US illegally for a decade.
According to Billboard, the focus of the operation was Nudy and two other, unnamed men, for reasons “unrelated to the immigration arrest”.
