What happened to Connected K on KSCS? Katelyn Maida, better known as Connected K, is co-host of Hawkeye In The Morning, the breakfast show on KSCS, a radio station serving Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.

She’s been off the airwaves for a few weeks now, and fans are wondering where she is. Here’s what we know.

What happened to Connected K on KSCS?

On 6 November, Connected K posted a long-captioned post on her Instagram profile:

In it, she says: “We’ve experienced so much life together. I’ll never forget that. You will no longer hear me on New Country 96.3 BUT you will always have a friend in your corner. I can’t wait to share my next adventure with you soon.”

But why was she deciding to leave the station? Katelyn has been keeping her reasons under wraps.

Her excitement at announcing her “next adventure” leads us to believe Katelyn left her spot at KSCS on her own terms to move on to other passions.

Maybe Connected K will be moving on to a different part of the world, as she references her “6 years here in Dallas” in her Instagram post.

In another Twitter reply, Katelyn said:

By saying she’s “moving in a different direction”, it seems that she may be moving on to pursue different areas away from the radio microphone.

Fan response to Connected K leaving KSCS

The overriding response from fans is that they miss Connected K gracing their airwaves every morning on KSCS with her co-host Mark ‘Hawkeye’ Louis.

Miss you in the mornings!!! I don't know how, but I missed that you were leaving 🙁

Although Connected K is keeping her plans close to her for the time being, her response to fans online leads us to believe an announcement about her future is coming soon.

Best of luck, K!
