Concerns over Wendy Williams’ health continue after she tested positive for covid in September 2021, particularly after Toine The Don claimed she showed signs of dementia. Wendy has recovered from the virus, but was she vaccinated?
The world hasn’t seen Wendy Williams since the last episode of her 12th season in July 2021, and it looks like the daytime audience has started to miss her.
Although her selection of guest hosts have done a remarkable job in her absence, fans hope to see the media personality back in her purple chair soon.
Wendy updated fans at the beginning of November but, after rumours of serious health concerns began circulating on Sunday (21 November), viewers are eager to know about her current situation and whether she was vaccinated.

Health rumours explained – and debunked
“It is being reported the daytime talk show host has completely lost all blood circulation in her legs and in her feet,” he claimed. “Wendy will not be returning to her show in 2021 it appears, and the same goes for next year.”
Edwards also took to the Ricky Smiley Morning Show to claim Wendy Williams was “confined to a wheelchair”.
However, Williams’ brother Thomas Williams Jr shut down those statements while talking to The Sun:
“We haven’t had any alerts like that and I haven’t seen anything like that or have had conversations with her that would lead me to believe that. We don’t have any concerns concerning her mental state. It’s all physical.”
Toine The Don made his claims on Twitter while attributing them to a “source close to the talk show host”.

Is Wendy Williams vaccinated?
Yes, the 57-year-old is vaccinated.
In September 2021, she suffered from a breakthrough case of covid, meaning it was an infection of a fully vaccinated person.
The news was revealed on the Wendy Show Instagram, announcing season 13 would be pushed back to 4 October. Two weeks later, however, another notice updated that although Wendy was now covid-negative, she was still experiencing “ongoing medical issues”.
The host has yet to return to her daytime talk show since her Graves’ disease has made recovery more complicated. She revealed she had been diagnosed with the condition in 2018.
Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes hyperthyroidism, with symptoms such as bulging eyes, hand tremors and anxiety.
We wish Wendy Williams a speedy recovery and hope to see her back on our screens soon.
