Victor Tapia, AKA Misterclasico's death confirmed as tributes pour out


It has been announced club promoter Victor Tapia, also known as Misterclasico, has passed away aged 32.

News of Victor Tapia’s death was confirmed online on Monday (13 December), although no cause of death has been reported.

Friends shared their tributes on social media as many chose to remember Victor on Twitter and Instagram.

Who was Victor Tapia, AKA Misterclasico?

Victor Tapia, also known as Misterclasico and Chuck Bass across his socials, was a 32-year-old promoter from New York.

He often shared snaps from events and upcoming promotions on his Instagram, where he had more than 16,000 followers.

As well as posting about his life as a promoter, he was a keen traveller as he shared snaps in picturesque locations around the world:

Victor Tapia’s death confirmed by close friends

Close friend and Love & Hip Hop alum Cyn Santana was one of the first to pay tribute to Misterclasico as she shared a series of memories together on her Instagram Stories on Monday.

The two, who have been friends for a number of years, both celebrate their birthday in October, just days apart.

Referencing their celebrations this year, during her tribute, Cyn Santana shared a video of Victor surprising her with a cake on her birthday. Along with the video, she wrote: “Our Libra season was so good this year. I’m so thankful.”
