Actress Tia Mowry, known for her roles across TV and film had her followers on Instagram excited this week as she shared snaps of her family all together as part of their Thanksgiving celebrations.
Following the Family Reunion actress’ real-life family reunion, some are curious to know more about Tia Mowry’s parents.

Who are Tia Mowry’s parents?
Tia Mowry is the daughter of mother Darlene and father Timothy. The two are both veterans, with Mowry having previously mentioned their service in an interview with PEOPLE.
She told the publication: “My parents, they were in the army. They ran away to be married at 18 years old. It was kind of like a little bit of a shotgun wedding, should I say.”
As per the Atlanta Black Star, Darlene and Timothy got married in 1975 but went their separate ways in 2015. Mowry previously discussed their divorce in an episode of The Real Daytime in 2019.
The actress explained: “I’ve never really talked about this on television, but my mom and dad are actually divorced.” Mowry went on to add her father, has since met someone new while her mother prefers to keep her love life private.

Mowry family reunite for Thanksgiving
In celebration of Thanksgiving earlier this week, Tia Mowry shared a series of family snaps to her 9.5 million followers on Instagram as they reunited for turkey day festivities.
While Mowry’s parents are no longer together, the pair were both spotted in the actress’ thanksgiving snaps. Captioning the post, Mowry admitted she had the “best thanksgiving” surrounded by family and “good vibes.”
Fans have since taken to the comments as they gushed about seeing the actress and her family all together. One wrote: “Everyone was together, that’s so amazing.” another added: “Great to see all of you reunited this year.”

Who are Tia Mowry’s siblings?
Tia Mowry is one of four children. As well as Tia, Darlene and Timothy also share daughter Tamera and two sons Tahj and Tavior. Some may be familiar with Tia and her twin sister Tamera for their roles in the 1990s TV series Sister, Sister.
Tahj is also an actor and as well as appearing alongside his sisters in the 1990s show, is known for his role as Tucker in the popular sitcom Baby Daddy. Elsewhere, Tavior is a musician and actor and, as per his IMDb, recently starred in the 2021 film Karen.
