Viral spider move makes Stardom wrestler Twitter famous
Thekla recently took part in a professional wrestling event at the Shinjuku Face in Kabukicho, Tokyo, Japan on 3 January 2022.
The Austrian wrestler eventually rolled onto a win in the main event of the show after putting an end to Mai Sakurai, as per LWOS reports.
During the competition, Thekla fought an opponent named Tamu Nakano and whipped out some crazy creepy-crawly moves.
Otherwise known as The Toxic Spider, Thekla is notorious in the wrestling world for using her spider-like techniques in the ring.
@tde_gif shared a clip of Thekla bending over backwards to avoid her rival and eventually taking Tam-Tam down.

Who is Thekla, The Toxic Spider?
Thekla is a professional Stardom wrestler from Vienna who is currently living in Tokyo, as explained on her website.
Having debuted in the sport in the Viennese underground wrestling scene in 2017, she has since been working as a free agent, fighting for a number of promotions in Austria, Germany and Japan.
As the first Austrian female pro wrestler to ever perform at the legendary Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, she has also been holding the World Underground Wrestling Championess title since December 2019.

Why did the wrestler leave Ice Ribbon?
Thekla was formerly working as an official roster member of the Joshi Pro Wrestling company named Ice Ribbon prior to joining Stardom.

At the beginning of December 2021, Thekla explained that she decided to leave Ice Ribbon due to the recent announcements of her co-worker’s upcoming exits.
The wrestler expressed her feelings of gratitude, thanking the company for all of the support but stated that it is now time to move on to new adventures.

She finalised her slideshow message by confirming that she needed time to regenerate and find inspiration, promising fans that the spider will soon return.
