Who is Teyana Taylor?
Teyana Taylor is a singer, dancer, choreographer, director, actor and model. Wow, thats an impressive career title. Her full name is Teyana Meshay Jacqueli Shumpert.
She was born on 10 December 1990 in Harlem, New York, and is 29 years old.
She is currently signed to Kanye West’s label GOOD Music and famously danced in the video for his song Fade, which has 148 million views on YouTube.
She has released three albums, VII (2014), K.T.S.E (2018) and The Album (2020). Her biggest song to date is Gonna Love Me, which has 89 million streams on Spotify.
Teyana is married to NBA star Iman Shumpert. The couple got married in 2016 and have two daughters – 4-year-old Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr, who they affectionally nickname Junie, and baby Rue Rose Shumpert.
Both babies were delivered in the bathroom of Taylor’s house. Taylor wrote on an Instagram post: “Not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital!”
Tenana Taylor’s dining room is next-level trippy
Fans on Twitter have been going crazy over Teyana Taylor’s dining room optical illusion, which is reminiscent of a comic book or cartoon. The space is designed in black and white and looks like it has been painted or drawn on.
The way the clocks and shelves have been outlined make them look like they are 2D and stuck to the walls. The colour palate is monochrome and the style is minimalistic and chic.
Teyana employed Atlanta-based artisan Mary Kate-Wightman to transform her dining space and the results are astounding! The pair have previously worked together on Teyana’s video Concrete.
