Secret Society, directed by Jamal Hill, was released in April 2021 and people, naturally, want to know where they can watch it and who the cast are. Let’s find out.

What is Secret Society about?

Based on the novel of the same name by Miasha Coleman, Secret Society is about Celess and Tina, two trans women with difficult pasts trying to navigate life.

Celess is played by Reyna Love and Erica Pinkett plays Tina in the film adaption from Jamall Hill, director of 2011 gang flick Streets and 2015 drama Brotherly Love.

The IMDB summary of the movie reads: “Celess and Tina play the game too well to be considered your average gold diggers.

“And they’re winning too. But when the jaw-dropping secret they both share is exposed, the same shovel that got them out of the dirt could very well bury them.”

The film also features “hot felon” Jeremy Meeks as Khalil.

On Instagram, Miasha Coleman said the film adaption of her debut novel features two strong performances from its leads.

She wrote: “I can’t wait for y’all to see what [they] bring to this movie! These girls put everything they had on the screen. Mark my words, they goin’ take off [sic].”
