BBC Radio 1 presenter Scott Mills is engaged to his partner Sam Vaughan.
According to Daily Mail, the broadcaster announced the happy news on Monday night, sharing pictures of the proposal to the brand manager on social media.
Sharing his happy news on Instagram, 47-year-old Mills admitted to fans that he never thought he would tie the knot.
But since meeting Sam, the popular Radio 1 DJ changed his thoughts about getting married.
He wrote: “After 4 years together I’m delighted to say we got engaged at the weekend… As soon as I met you I knew this could be something special and it is… We’ve had some amazing times, and I’m bursting with happiness to know we will have so many more.”

Sharing a picture of his engagement ring, Vaughan wrote on his Instagram page: “The beginning of forever. On Saturday the love of my life asked me to marry him and of course I said yes!
“I’ve had the most amazing four years and can’t wait to continue our journey!”

Sam Vaughan: age and career explored
According to Vaughan’s Instagram bio, he is the brand manager at Nation Broadcasting, where he sometimes plays songs.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Vaughan graduated from Cynffig Comprehensive School in 2008, meaning that he should be in his early 30s.
Before his role at Nation Broadcasting, Vaughan worked as a Marketing Co-Ordinator for Global Radio.
Alongside Mills, Vaughan manages an Instagram account for their dog, Teddy the Cavapoo.
