A video reportedly taken at rapper Goonew’s funeral is making the rounds on Twitter, leaving some fans horrified.
Goonew was shot and killed in March aged 24, The Mirror reports, but according to No Jumper the rapper’s body was propped up at his bizarre funeral service, which was held at a nightclub.
The now-viral clip of the ‘funeral’ is stirring talk on Twitter, with some branding the service “disturbing”.

Goonew passed away aged 24
DMV (The District, Maryland and Virginia) rapper Goonew passed away in March 2022 in Maryland after being shot in the back.
Goonew, real name Markelle Morrow, was just 24 years old when he passed. His body was found by police officers in a parking lot in District Heights.
Talking to WUSA 9, Morrow’s mother issued details on the rapper’s murder and attackers. She said: “They took his chain, they took his watch. He gave it up and they still shot him in the back.”
The rapper is renowned for tracks such as No Diss and Life Of Death.

‘Disturbing’ funeral video goes viral
Now, a disturbing video alleged to be of Goonew’s funeral has gone viral on Twitter. The clip, reposted by the No Jumper podcast, appears to show the rapper’s body propped up onstage at a nightclub as attendees celebrate his life by singing and dancing.
ShowBizCast reports the funeral service was held in a DC club.
