Mescal Wasilewski’s age and background explored

Wasilewski was born on August 1, 1970, so turns 52 years old today. Sweetin is 40 years old, meaning there’s a 12-year age gap between Mescal and her.

Mescal has a brother called Strider, who is two years younger than him.

It’s unknown whether Wasilewski has been married before but he doesn’t seem to have children. However, he does have an adorable dog, Isa, while his nephews make frequent appearances on his social media profiles.

Wasilewski attended Santa Monica High School in the 1980s. In 2013, he graduated with a degree in sociology from California State University and completed a master of social work program from Hunter College in 2019.

He has worked as a clinical social worker in the field of addiction and mental health for more than 16 years and currently serves as a primary therapist at Catalyst Recovery. The now 52-year-old also launched his own therapy practice, M. Wasilewski Inc, five years ago in New York.

Mescal is Jodie Sweetin’s fourth husband

Jodie Sweetin is on her fourth marriage.

Before tying the knot with new hubby Mescal Wasilewski, the Full House actress was married to LAPD officer Shaun Holguin from 2002 to 2006, who she met while attending Chapman University, as per Access Online.

Her second marriage was to Cody Herpin. The couple tied the knot in July 2007 after two months of dating and welcomed daughter, Zoie, in April 2008. However, they filed for divorce in November that year.

Sweetin married DJ and actor Morty Coyle in March 2012, two years after their daughter Beatrix was born in August 2010. Coyle and Sweetin finalised their split in September 2016, as reported by The Sun.

Mr and Mrs Wasilewski began their romance on 16 September 2017. Their relationship was long-distance for three years as Wasilewski used to be based in Brooklyn, New York, while the actress was in Los Angeles, as per Hollywood Life.

Jodie and Mescal tie the knot in intimate Malibu ceremony

On Saturday evening, the couple wed in an intimate ceremony at a private Malibu home. Among the guests were Full House cast members John Stamos and Candace Cameron Bure, People Magazine reports, and Jodi’s two daughters, Zoie and Beatrix.

The actress wore a gown designed by Lili Bridals as she walked down the aisle with her father, Sam.

Sweetin and her new husband are happily in love that “all the pieces just fell into place”, as the actress gushed in a previous interview.

“Mescal makes me feel absolutely comfortable and secure to shine as bright as I need to,” she says. “He steps up and shows up for my girls. And we harmonize so well. He’s really the best teammate I could ask for.”

Of the easy-going wedding ceremony, planned by Sara Landon Events, Jodi told People: “I didn’t want it to be fussy. The look is very organic and natural. It’s just about good food and good friends – and twinkle lights!”
