On Wednesday (August 3), Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon welcomed comedian Katherine Blanford as she made her comedy debut on-screen.
Blanford’s feature on the show came amid the release of her new comedy album Salt Daddy on Apple Music last month.
The comedian shared insight into the material of her comedy album as she performed a stand-up set during which she shared tidbits from her childhood of growing up a “weird kid.”
Ahead of her feature on the late-night chat show, Blanford shared her excitement in a post on Facebook as she gushed she was “thrilled” to feature on-screen for the first time on the Tonight Show.

Blanford was born in 1991 and is currently 30 years and is set to celebrate her 31st birthday next week, according to a past tweet by the comedian.
As noted in an interview with Voyage ATL in 2019, Blanford began her comedy career following the passing of her mother. The comedian was in her early 20s at the time and later went on to pursue comedy by taking classes.

Katherine Blanford hails from Louisville, Kentucky but is now based in Atlanta, Georgia. Before pursuing comedy full time, Blanford’s day job saw her work as a nanny.
The 30-year-old also co-hosts the podcast Cheaties alongside fellow stand-up comedian Lace Larrabee which launched in 2020.
Blanford has become a known name on the stand-up comedy circuit, having opened for the likes of Ron White and David Spade.
