The death of comedian Mahal has just been announced. The actor has passed away due to covid-19 at the age of 46. We take a closer look at her incredible life and career, as well as the professional partnership and friendship between Mahal and Mura.

Who were Mahal and Mura?

Mahal and Mura were former screen parters, and fellow actors. The pair had both been diagnosed with dwarfism and used to work together as ‘twins’.

The pair first met through the news and public affairs programme KMJS (Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho).

Mura lives in Bicol and Mahal had recently gone to visit him. She recently vlogged this travel on her YouTube channel, which has over 500k subscribers.

Mahal was born in Virac, Catanduanes, and became famous back in the 90s due to her incredibly small height. She was born on 20 December 1974 and was 46 when she passed away,

She is well known for her recent work in the series Owe My Love which aired from February to June of this year. The comedian also previously dated Jimboy Salazar, who passed away back in 2015.

Mahal also previously starred in Id’Nal (Mapusok), Mr Suave: Hoy!, and Kokey.

Mura, also known as Allan Padua, is a Filipino actor known for his work in Darna, Volta and Wapakman.

Death announced of comedian and actor Mahal

Mahal, also known as Noemi Tesorero, has passed away at the age of 46. The news of her death was shared with media outlets on Tuesday, 31 August, by her sister Irene.

The comedian died in a hospital in Batangas after testing positive for Covid-19. Her sister also shared that Mahal was suffering from long-term health issues such as high blood pressure.
