NHL player Connor McDavid and his girlfriend, Lauren Kyle, welcomed fans into their stunning home with an Architectural Digest tour, leaving viewers curious about Kyle and her career. How old is she and what does she do for a living?

The latest episode follows NHL’s Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle into their modern monochromatic abode in chilly Edmonton, Alberta.

Who is Lauren Kyle? Her age, career and more

Lauren was born 27 June 1996 in Toronto, Canada, to Sharon and Paul Kyle, making her age 25 at the time of writing. Her father reportedly owns a small business and she has two brothers: David and Ward.

The 25-year-old studied interior architecture at Ryerson University from 2015 -2019 and moved to Edmonton after graduation to start her own firm,  Kyle & Co. Design Studio, specialising in residential design.

As a talented designer, Lauren gave detailed explanations of the house features during the tour since she spearheaded the project.

How long have Lauren and Connor been dating?

The pair have been an item since 2016; they reportedly met after showing up to the wrong party for their friend’s birthday. Lauren confirmed their relationship on 5 July 2015 with their first public couple photo.

Since August 2019, they share an adorable two-year-old Miniature Bernedoodle called Lenard, also known as Lenny.

Connor and Lauren began house-hunting for their dream home when he scored an eight-year $100 million contract with the Edmonton Oilers in 2017, making his $12.5 million per year the highest average value in NHL.
