Has Lara Trump had plastic surgery? A controversial interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper left viewers wondering if Eric Trump’s wife might be looking a little different lately.

Has Lara Trump had plastic surgery?

Writing for Medium, independent journalist Sheryl Canter investigated in detail the surgical procedures undergone by many of the women in Trump’s life.

Even employees at Trump’s California golf club have called out Trump for his alleged extreme views on attractiveness. In a sworn declaration, Hayley Strozier, director of catering at the club until 2008, said:

I had witnessed Donald Trump tell managers many times while he was visiting the club that restaurant hostesses were ‘not pretty enough’ and that they should be fired and replaced with more attractive women.

Speculation about whether someone has undergone plastic surgery presents an ethical dilemma. Jared Kushner’s so-called “haunted doll” look prompted many commentators to ask questions. Now, questions are being asked of Lara Trump.

Lara Trump has not publicly admitted to having plastic surgery and there is no evidence online that she has. However, that hasn’t stopped some Twitter users from asking questions.

Who is Lara Trump?

Married to Donald Trump’s son Eric, Lara Trump is a former television producer and is currently working as a campaign adviser to Donald Trump. She and Eric have two children, Luke and Carolina Dorothy.

As a member of the campaign team for her father-in-law, Lara allegedly receives $180,000 per year for her advisory services.

Earlier this year, Lara joined the campaign trail together with self-described “proud Islamophobe” congressional candidate Laura Loomer in a Florida campaign event.

Story of the day: Lara Trump mocks Joe Biden’s speech

At a Women For Trump event in Iowa in January, Lara Trump made controversial comments about Joe Biden.

“Every time he comes on stage or they turn to him,” Lara says, “I’m like, ‘Joe, can you get it out? Let’s get the words out, Joe.’ You kinda feel bad for him.”

Lara was following in the footsteps of former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders who, in December 2019, also mocked Biden’s speech – especially his stutter.

Sanders published a tweet starting with 15 I’s, followed by the word “have” spelled with three H’s. After being roundly criticised and called out on Twitter, Huckabee apologised.

On Sunday, CNN host Jake Tapper interviewed Lara Trump and asked her about her Women For Trump comments. His questions led to a heated exchange during which Lara claimed Biden’s difficulty speaking was symptomatic of “cognitive decline”.

Joe Biden has spoken widely and candidly about overcoming his stutter, and he has been praised for doing so in many quarters.
