Keith Leak Jr speaks of cancer diagnosis on Instagram

On 3 April 2021, Keith Leak Jr spoke to all of his concerned fans about what has been going on. He currently has a diagnosis of Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST).

In the Instagram post discussing his diagnosis, Keith wrote: “For the ppl that keep asking… I was recently diagnosed with a 10 inch Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST). “Is it cancerous?” — Yes.
“Does it hurt?” — Sometimes. I go in and out of pain.
“How are you mentally?” — I’m taking it a day at a time and staying hopeful considering It’s treatable. But there is a long road ahead considering these particular tumors grow back.
Only 4,000-6,000 ppl have this in the United States. It’s rare…”

Keith continued: “I’m undergoing more tests soon to see what’s the safest way to get this outta me. I’ll do my best to let you guys know where I’m at in my journey. Love you all. Keep me lifted up in prayer.”

He also described his tumour as “an alien baby is growing inside of [him].” Keith has continued to make jokes on Instagram that the tumour is his baby.

Update on Keith Leak Jr’s cancer treatment

On 23 April 2021, Keith posted to his Instagram profile a health update.

Keith wrote: “HEALTH UPDATE: I officially started my chemotherapy! I feel like a major weight has finally been lifted off my back. The last few months have been difficult balancing doctors visits, raising a puppy, and still filming (The grind don’t stop! I love what I do!)
Call me crazy… but although I have a serious health condition… I HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO BE GRATEFUL FOR!!!”

On 30 April 2020, Keith captioned an Instagram post: “UPDATE: It’s only been a week of chemotherapy and the tumor shrunk tremendously”
