Judge Faith announces she’s pregnant

Divorce Court alum Judge Faith is expecting her first child with husband of two years Kenny Lattimore.

Jenkins announced the baby news on Thursday (August 11) as she shared a snap alongside her R&B singer husband while she cradled her growing bump.

The family snap also featured their dog Cooper, who was pictured with a plaque around his neck that read: “Mom and dad are getting me a human.”

Taking to the caption, Jenkins shared her excitement to welcome their bundle of joy as she said the news was their “greatest blessing yet.”

In a follow-up post on his own Instagram, Lattimore wrote he and Jenkins were “excited for this next chapter.”

Jenkins and Lattimore married in 2020

The couple’s baby news comes after little more than two years of marriage. The couple tied the knot in Los Angeles in a ceremony at the First Congregational Church in March 2020, just before the coronavirus pandemic.

Reflecting on their big day in a post on Instagram at the time, the attorney described her husband as her “true love.” In a repost on his own Instagram feed, Lattimore said his heart was “full” as he described his bride as “beautiful, brilliant and sweet.”

The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary in March, with Lattimore admitting their two years of marriage has “flown by” while sharing a throwback snap from their wedding:

Couple met on a blind date

Jenkins and Lattimore first crossed paths in early 2019 after a friend of the attorney’s set them up on a blind date.

The TV judge was looking to record some festive tracks for the Christmas holidays with her music producer friend putting her in contact with Lattimore.

The two ended up meeting over lunch and, while they ended up talking for two hours, the two didn’t hit it off initially.

Reflecting on their lunch together to Essence, Jenkins joked: “After our first lunch date I didn’t leave saying, ‘That’s my husband.'” She added she later realized “how amazing a person he is” and he was “everything” she was looking for.

They went on to get engaged just six months after meeting having kept their relationship under wraps before the announcement.
