Meet tennis player Jessica Pegula

Jessica Pegula was born on 24 February 1994, to sports tycoon couple, Terry and Kim Pegula. Her parents are principal owners of the NFL team the Buffalo Bills, while Terry Pegula also owns hockey team the Buffalo Sabres, of the NHL.

Jessica’s mother is Korean and her father American, and she was born in Buffalo, New York. Pegula went pro with her tennis career in 2009 and is currently being coached by David Witt.

She has three pet dogs and loves to share photos of them on her Instagram – here are Tucker, Maddie and Dex.

Who is Jessica Pegula’s boyfriend?

Jessica Pegula doesn’t have a boyfriend per se, but a fiancé.

Her partner is Taylor Gahagen, an American senior investment analyst. According to his LinkedIn, Taylor worked for seven years at Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which is owned by Jessica’s parents.

There, he was a director of corporate development, director of brand strategy and development and, finally, he did marketing for the Pegulas’ NHL professional hockey team, the Buffalo Sabres.

Jessica Pegula and her boyfriend-turned-fiancé, Taylor, are thought to have been dating since 2015, though this is not confirmed.

Taylor attended Canisius College where he graduated an MBA. He also went on to State University of New York at Fredonia, where he received a BSc in business administration.

Gahagen is well known for his current work volunteering with animals. He co-founded an animal welfare organisation called ‘A Lending Paw‘, that specialises in supporting rescue dogs and rehabilitating them to be rehomed.

Jessica Pegula stuns with Australian Open performance

Jessica Pegula is on the radar of many a sports fan today due to her being set to play the quarter-finals at the Australian Open this Wednesday, 17 February 2021.

She will be playing against fellow American, Jennifer Brady, in the Women’s singles tournament.

Pegula is currently trending after she defeated Elina Svitolia in the Women’s doubles tournament, winning 15-13.
