Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been in the news this week after 25-year-old Alexandra Davis filed a lawsuit against him, claiming he is her biological father.

Meet Jerry Jones’ wife, Eugenia
Jerry Jones’ wife Eugenia, better known as Gene, tends to keep away from the spotlight. However, she’s often seen alongside her husband at events and, since Jerry bought the Dallas Cowboys in 1989, Gene hasn’t missed a game.
The self-titled mother of the Dallas Cowboys is also known for her philanthropy. Gene sits on a number of boards including the Texas Cultural Trust and the Salvation Army’s Dallas County board alongside her husband.
Last year Gene was named the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas’ 2021 woman of inspiration. She is also a University of Arkansas alumni and former Miss Arkansas USA.

Jerry and Gene have been married almost 60 years
Jerry and Eugenia tied the knot in 1963 so will celebrate 59 years of marriage this year. They are college sweethearts and crossed paths while Gene was in her freshman year at the University of Arkansas and Jerry played offensive lineman for the Razorbacks.
Gene reflected on their first date to The Dallas Morning News and admitted a few friends joined them as at she didn’t know too much about Jerry.
They all enjoyed dinner before going to a local fair where bachelors can win their dates teddy bears in carnival games. While Jerry didn’t manage to win one, he surprised Gene with a large teddy bear he bought. The couple started dating soon after and married three years later.

Dallas Cowboy owner’s family life
Jerry and Gene have three children – Stephen, Charlotte,and Jerry Jr – and nine grandkids. All three children followed in their father’s footsteps to a career in football and are executive presidents of the Dallas Cowboys.
They have other titles in the Cowboys franchise. Stephen Jones is chief operating officer and director of player personnel, while Jerry Jr is chief sales and marketing officer. Charlotte is also chief brand officer for the organisation.
One of Jerry’s grandsons, John Stephen Jones, also plays on the same college team as he did – Arkansas Razorbacks – but as quarterback.
