Trace Gallagher announced as new Fox News anchor
Gallagher has been named the permanent anchor of Fox News @ Night, Fox News Channel’s midnight newscast.
He will be replacing Shannon Bream who held the role for five years before leaving to debut as anchor of Fox News Sunday earlier this September.
Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement: “When it comes to breaking news coverage, Trace Gallagher is one of the best in the business and having a seasoned journalist at the helm of this hour ensures our viewers unrivaled 24/7 news coverage.”
Meanwhile, Gallagher said that he looks forward to “breaking down the major headlines for our audience across the country every evening.
Is Gallagher married?
Yes, Gallagher is married. He has been with his wife Tracy for 28 years, an anniversary the couple celebrated last week. Gallagher shared a picture of the two of them on Instagram which he captioned: “So blessed to spend 28 years with my sweet, beautiful wife. Happy anniversary my love!”
The news anchor regularly shares pictures of his wife, Tracy, and has called her his “best friend,” an “all round amazing person,” and the “best football watching partner.”
