Connor Jennings personal life

Connor Joseph Jennings was born in Manchester, England, on 29 October 1991, making him 29 years old.

He is close to his family and often mentions them on his Twitter account including a post during his five-day hospital stay following a meningitis scare.

Connor’s football career began with Stalybridge Celtic, who he played for from 2009 to 2012. The centre-forward was then bought by Scunthorpe United for £41,000 but was loaned to Stockport County in the same season.

Scunthorpe also loaned Connor to Grimsby Town and Macclesfield until he joined Wrexham on a free transfer in 2014. He moved to Tranmere Rovers two years later until signing a permanent deal back at Stockport in July last year.

The 29-year-old is now in the news because of health issues. Stockport County issued a statement on 25 March 2021.

It explains Connor had been suffering pain in his shoulder that wouldn’t respond to physio and required further investigation.

An MRI scan discovered a tumour, with a biopsy confirming the tumour was a low-grade chondroid sarcoma – a rare form of cancer.
