Who does Humberly González play in Maps And Mistletoe?
González portrays Emilia Martin, a cartographer (someone who develops and produces maps), who is stuck with the task of designing a novelty treasure map of the North Pole. Unfortunately, it means her plans to spend Christmas at home are interrupted so she enlists the help of North Pole explorer Drew Campbell (Ronnie Rowe) to speed up the process.
As expected from festive flicks, the pair initially butt heads but eventually fall in love while co-operating to finish the project before the holidays.
At the start, Martin is focused on completing the job as soon as possible, while Campbell is reluctant since he hasn’t spent the holiday season at home in years. In other words, he wants to explore the known, rather than the unknown.
As the movie progresses, it becomes more like play than work when the couple get distracted with decorating gingerbread houses, buying trees, and sledging down a hill.
