Harry Styles’ performance on TODAY at Rockefeller Plaza received record-breaking numbers of requests for Fan Passes, deepened curiosity about his goddaughter Ruby Winston, and reignited questions about whether or not he has a daughter himself. Here’s what we know.
Age-old rumours that Harry Styles has a daughter appear to have originated on a fan-fiction site
Quotev is a website that offers stories and quizzes created by users. Much of the material on the website is fan fiction.
“Let me explain how I, of all people, ended up raising a kid with Harry Styles”, it starts.

The narrator goes on to explain how she met Harry via her friend and then-flatmate Ed Sheeran. “When the drama of Harry getting a ‘fan’ pregnant”, Caroline’s narrator continues, “he came to me first”.
Holly Grace Andrews – the narrator of the fictional story – goes on to raise Harry Styles’ daughter “Darcy Anne Styles”.
Some people seem to have cited the fictional story as truth
An article on the entertainment website celebrity.fm notes that “if the revelation by Holly Grace Andrews, the alleged babysitter, is anything to go by”, then Harry Styles does indeed have a daughter.

Separately, a Q&A-style article published by R4DN says the same. “The beautiful princess is known as Darcy Anne Styles,” it reads.
But besides the fan fiction uploaded to Quotev in October 2013, there’s no evidence online that Styles has a daughter at all.
But Harry Styles does have a goddaughter
Entertainment Weekly confirmed earlier this year that the “adorable surprise cameo” on Styles’ recent single As It Was is none other than his goddaughter.
At age five, Harry Styles’ goddaughter is the daughter of Grammy’s executive producer Ben Winston – her name is Ruby.

Harry sampled her voice from a voice message her father sent him, according to TODAY.
“She used to try and call me before bedtime every night”, he told UK radio show Capital Breakfast last month. “And one time it didn’t ring or something so they sent me that.”
“I dug it out when we were in the studio and put it in front of the song for some reason and I kind of just fell in love with it so it stuck.”
