It has just been announced that hash legend, teacher, and activist Frenchy Cannoli has passed away. We remember the work and extraordinary life of Frenchy Cannoli.
Meet the passionate cannabis activist
Frenchy Cannoli is well known in California as a ‘Master Hashishin’. He is a teacher, and producer, who transforms the cannabis plant into hash.
Cannoli was well known for equating his hashish making process to that of wine and wine-making.
The educator was born on 13 Dec, 1956 and was 64 when he died. Cannoli originally grew up in Nice, France, but quickly sought adventure and travel. He then committed himself to a nomadic lifestyle for over 20 years, travelling all over the world.
This included countries that produced hashish, specifically Morocco, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan and India. Cannoli used this time to learn from traditional producers and learn how to harvest cannabis resin.
