Who is Evan Dick?
Evan Dick is one of the six set to fly to space as part of Blue Origin New Shepard’s latest mission. Away from his upcoming space venture, Dick is an investor and engineer.
According to his Blue Origin bio, Dick previously worked for investment firms D.E. Shaw and Highbridge Capital Management. The bio also names him as a member of Dick Holdings LLC, which is in the management of companies and enterprises sector.

Who will he join on New Shepard’s 19th mission?
Evan Dick will join six others on board Blue Origin’s New Shepard as it completes its 19th mission. Out of the six, he is one of four paying customers alongside Voyager Space chief executive Dylan Taylor, and Bess Ventures founder Lane Bess and son Cameron Bess.
They will join two honorary guests – Laura Shepard Churchley, who is the daughter of American space pioneer Alan Shepard, and Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan.
The full crew was announced today (Tuesday, 23 November), with the mission due to blast off into space on Thursday, 9 December:

How much is a Blue Origin New Shepard ticket?
As Evan Dick is one of four paying customers set to travel aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard, many people are curious to know how much a ticket costs.
If you’re hoping to travel to space as part of New Shepard’s next mission you better start saving as a ticket is estimated to be in the millions. According to Inverse, a seat on Blue Origin’s first crewed flight sold for a whopping $28 million.
Actor Tom Hanks mentioned a similar figure as he admitted he had been interested in a Blue Origin flight. During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! he claimed: “You know it costs 28 million bucks or something like that?”
