The death of TikTok content creator Jules Eusebio, aka “The Dub King”, has been announced. He was only 43. We take a look at his career and just some of the messages of condolence posted by Jules’ fans.

GMA confirms death of TikTok star ‘The Dub King’

“Rest in power,” opens GMA Entertainment’s tribute to TikTok star Jules Eusebio, aka “The Dub King”, who died on 15 May 2022.

Eusebio’s cause of death, GMA writes, was typhoid. A friend of Jules’ confirmed to the outlet the TikTok star had suffered from severe typhoid fever leading up to his death and had been in and out of hospital.

PEP adds Jules also suffered from depression and some of those paying tribute to the late TikToker on Twitter have noted his mental health.

Born 20 July 1978, Jules Eusebio’s age at time of death was 43. He would have turned 44 later this year. 

He was a successful TikTok creator; his channel had 835,000 followers and had accumulated almost 18 million likes.

During his guest appearance, he recounted the first time he met ‘Dubsmash Queen’ Maine Mendoza.

More recently, he’d been doing celebrity impressions and posting them to his TikTok followers. 

Impressions include Anne Curtis Smith, Catriona Gray, Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino, Toni Gonzaga, and The Broken Marriage Vow’s Dr Jill (played by Jodi Sta Maria).

They were popular. Many of his recent uploads have racked up hundreds of thousands of views.

Fans react to death of Jules Eusebio via Instagram, TikTok

Eusebio’s most recent TikTok and Instagram uploads have each picked up dozens of comments during the past 24 hours. Fans have been paying tribute to the late content creator and comedian.

“Heaven has gained another angel,” wrote fellow TikToker Alam Nyo Ba To. Over on Instagram, “Rest in peace” messages have flooded Jules’ last selfie upload.

On Twitter, too, people have been offering their condolences to the family of Jules Eusebio.
