Prishtina-born British singer and actress Rita Ora recently made headlines by celebrating her 30th birthday with up to 30 friends.

She has already publicly apologised via her Instagram story for the indiscretion, saying it was a “serious and inexcusable error of judgement”.

Reportedly, she has also launched an investigation into who revealed the details of the party to the press.

The singer voluntarily paid a £10,000 fine – the maximum penalty for breaching lock-down regulations – for the illegal celebration.

Following the party, fans are asking whether or not the “Hot Right Now” singer smokes.

Does Rita Ora smoke?

Rita Ora has been pictured smoking in the past, but only sporadically.

Photos have emerged of Rita smoking cigarettes in the company of Cara Delevingne and Ellie Goulding, while on break from filming Fifty Shades Darker and on at least one other occasion.

However, there is no evidence to suggest that Rita Ora is a regular smoker. It is also important not to assume something based on a fleeting glance.

In this photo, to which a follower replied, “don’t smoke”, Rita Ora is in fact holding a pencil between her thumb and forefinger.

In April 2019, UNICEF UK appointed the singer as an ambassador

Rita Ora also has several movie credits to her name, including Fast & Furious 6 (she plays the drag race caller) and mystery film Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019), in which she plays Dr Ann Laurent, a scientist experimenting on Mewtwo.

Finally, Ora is the Chief Creative Partner of Próspero Spirits, the company behind Próspero Tequila. In this role, Ora partners with Stella Anguiano, one of the first female tequila distillers, to introduce the Próspero range.
