Hollywood actor Michael Madsen announced the tragic news his son Hudson Lee Madsen has passed away aged 26. In a statement sent by the actor’s representative to the Metro on Tuesday, 25 January the Madsen family said they were: “Heartbroken and overwhelmed with grief and pain at the loss of Hudson.”

As the sad news of his son’s passing is shared online, fans want to know more about Michael Madsen’s wife DeAnna Madsen, the mother of their late son.

Who is DeAnna Madsen?

Michael Madsen’s wife DeAnna Madsen (neé Morgan) has kept away from the spotlight in recent years, although she previously starred alongside her husband in some of his films. 

As per her IMDb, DeAnna appeared in 2000 film The Price Of Air as well as Fall: The Price of Silence, which was released a year later. 

DeAnna has also been a model, with her husband sharing a throwback snap of a campaign she did for luxury department store Barneys New York on Instagram in December:

How long have DeAnna and husband Michael Madsen been together?

DeAnna and Michael have been together for a quarter of a century. They will celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary in April. 

The couple tied the knot in 1996 and have three sons, Hudson, Kalvin and Luke.

Before she tied the knot with Michael, DeAnna was married to musician Brian Setzer, with whom she shares a son, Cody. Setzer found widespread success in the early 1980s as singer and guitarist of rockabilly band Stray Cats. He took his career in a very different direction in the early 1990s by founding swing band The Brian Setzer Orchestra.

Michael Madsen’s previous marriages

DeAnna is the actor’s third wife. Madsen and second wife Jeannine Bisignano, with whom he shares sons Christian and Max, were married four years before going their separate ways in 1995. 

Madsen’s first marriage was to Georganne LaPiere, the half-sister of singer and actress Cher.
