Brooklyn McKnight has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Dakota Blackburn, sparking the interest of her fans to learn more about his age, career and social media profiles.
Brooklyn, 22, is well-known as the other half of the Brooklyn and Bailey YouTube channel which boasts nearly 7 million subscribers.
Their channel includes the popular 10 Dates in 10 Days series in which Brooklyn met with 10 different guys over a period of 10 days.
And it turns out Brooklyn met her husband-to-be thanks to the dating series. Let’s meet Dakota on Instagram and find out more about him.

Brooklyn McKnight announces engagement
This week, Brooklyn McKnight made the exciting announcement on Instagram that she and her boyfriend Dakota Blackburn are engaged.
“A dream come true,” she captioned her post, alongside two pictures from the romantic proposal on a boat.
In a separate Instagram Story, Brooklyn provided more details about the engagement ring and said: “I actually let Dakota pick this ring completely by himself. I sent him some like inspiration pictures of what I liked, but honestly, all the creative design and stuff came from him.
“And also the James Allen team, which they were incredible in helping him design this and guide him towards the right ring,” she added.

Who is Dakota Blackburn?
Dakota Blackburn is a 28-year-old entrepreneur, making him six years older than Brooklyn. According to a Facebook account linked to his name, he hails from Vernal, Utah and likes surfing.
As per an Instagram profile, which is private at the time of writing, Dakota is linked to several businesses which include a smoothie and juice bar and a snack van. The account includes a link to a third juice brand which will be soon available in Texas.
Brooklyn said that she met her future husband during the filming of 10 Dates in 10 Days in 2020 but they made contact on several occasions in the past.
In the description of their engagement video, Brooklyn wrote they went on a date on the day her dating organiser Betsy Mikesell and her family got involved in a serious plane crash.
“Dakota did everything he could to comfort me, even though some of his family friends were also in that plane crash,” she explained.
“When I finally got ahold of Betsy, she told us to finish our date, so we did, but both Dakota and I were kind of traumatized. Yet through it all, Dakota’s focus was on me and how I was doing.”

In the 10 Dates in 10 Days video, Dakota and Brooklyn revealed they went to Top Golf on their first date, had dinner and even hang out with some of Dakota’s friends.
The two described their date as a “really fun day” and the YouTube star added they spent a total of 12 hours together. Guess this is when they found out that they can spend hours and hours together without getting bored!
