Peloton instructor joins the cast of DWTS 30
The Season 30 cast of Dancing With The Stars was announced today, Wednesday, 8 September, on Good Morning America (GMA).
Fitness instructor Cody Rigsby was announced as one of the 15 competitors alongside Sporty Spice (aka Mel C), Olympian Suni Lee and YouTube personality JoJo Siwa.
Following the announcement on GMA, Rigsby took to Instagram to share his excitement at being a part of the show.
In a post to his 861,000 followers, he wrote: “So excited to be joining the @dancingabc cast. Let’s go win the mirror ball.”

Who is Cody Rigsby’s partner, Andrés Alfaro?
Andrés Alfaro shares boyfriend Cody Rigsby’s passion for fitness as he is also an instructor at Barry’s Bootcamp.
Alfaro has worked as part of Barry’s at a number of locations including San Fransisco, Dallas and New York. The fitness trainer grew up in San Francisco, although he moved to New York to pursue his dream of being a fitness instructor.
He has become known for his Instagram, where he often shares snaps in the gym and alongside Rigsby.

How long have they been together?
Cody Rigsby and Andrés Alfaro first started dating in 2018 and have been together for three years.
The Peloton instructor initially kept their relationship away from social media, but the couple have become more open with their relationship on Instagram.
Rigsby opened up on why he chose to keep his relationship private at first in an interview with Vogue last year.
He explained: “I’ve been a little guarded, but I’ve recently opened up because so much of what we do (at Peloton) is storytelling and being vulnerable.”
