Was Chuck Norris really at the Capitol rally last week? Some photos of a Chuck Norris lookalike Trump supporter have been circulating online, supposedly taken in front of the Capitol building on Wednesday 6 January.

So, is there any truth to these rumours? And who is this Chuck Norris Trump supporter lookalike? Let’s dive in.

Chuck Norris lookalike spotted at the MAGA riots

We can confirm that no, Chuck Norris himself didn’t take part in the Capitol building protests last Wednesday, 6 January.

However, photos of a lookalike of the actor flooded social media and we’ve got to say, it’s a pretty close match! Take a look:

Twitter users were quick to point out that the man was just a lookalike, and not really Chuck Norris supporting MAGA.

One user even went so far as to do a facial recognition comparison of the photo at the Capitol building and a recent photo of 80-year-old Chuck Norris.

The results came back as an 85% match, essentially meaning the man in the photograph is a good doppelgänger but not the man himself.

Twitter users also pointed out that Chuck Norris has light blue/green eyes, while the man photographed has dark eyes.

In his political column for WMD, Norris lays out that dissent is patriotic. However, he doesn’t appear to support violent protest, and so doesn’t seem to support the way in which last week’s protests went forward.

The actor’s political views explored

Despite not attending the Capitol protests last week, Norris has expressed his support for Donald Trump in the past.

In 2016, the actor was quoted as saying: “I am going to let the citizens of America decide who they think would be the best candidate for the GOP. When the candidate is decided, I will support that person enthusiastically.”

In 2012, Norris and his wife, Gena, urged people to “unite for God and country” by casting ballots against Obama in that year’s presidential election.
