Ahead of her upcoming role as Annie in NBC’s Annie Live, Celina Smith wowed Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade attendees as she belted out the Annie classic Tomorrow.
The actress’ casting as orphan Annie was announced in August as she appeared on the TODAY show. Smith is set to perform her role live next Thursday (2 November) as she stars alongside Harry Connick Jr, Tituss Burgess, Taraji P Henson and Nicole Scherzinger.

How old is Celina Smith?
As she featured in Macy’s Thanksgiving celebrations, some are curious to know Celina Smith’s age. The rising star is 12 years old, having celebrated her latest birthday with her almost 16,000 followers on Instagram in May.
While sharing a selfie alongside a birthday card and flowers, Smith wrote: “Thanks everyone for making my birthday so special.”
She told the publication: “I’m 12. I haven’t reached that peak of success yet. There’s a bunch more stuff that I want to be able to do before, I don’t know… 30!”

Why does she look familiar?
Nickolodeon fans may recognise Celina Smith for her role as Rebecca Wilson in the comedy series Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan.
The show debuted on the children’s network in February last year and returned for a second instalment in June. As per Deadline, the show has now been greenlit for a third season, with production for the series set to begin early next year.
