It seems more celebrity couples than ever are opting to get married in Las Vegas and shunning traditional wedding ceremonies. Let’s round up some of the A-list pairings who have headed to Sin City to tie the knot.
You may know Vegas best for its casinos and nightlife but when it comes to weddings it has a prolific reputation. This hotspot serves as the perfect place for celebrities to elope for low-key but exciting nuptials, let’s take a look at some of the best.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner
The couple had two wedding ceremonies, the first was an intimate wedding in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards in 2019.

Their second wedding had more attendees and was held in the South of France on 29 June 2019.
Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth
In 2016, Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth headed to a chapel in Las Vegas to tie the knot. Although it was a private ceremony, footage of the event eventually got leaked to the public. Shia later joked that this was helpful as their fathers couldn’t attend so they actually got to see it.
“Our dads couldn’t be there, so it was kind of nice to have them there watching in a way,” Shia explained on The Ellen Show.
The couple filed for divorce but then reconciled and decided to stay together. They recently welcomed their first child together.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos
This power couple had a Vegas wedding in 1996 and, hilariously, also married on-screen as co-stars on soap opera All My Children a year later.
During an interview on Anna Faris’ podcast Unqualified, Kelly revealed she didn’t have a ring for a long time but, on their tenth wedding anniversary, Mark finally bought her a ring. The couple now live in New York with their three children and remain happily married, celebrating 27 years together this month.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore
They may have only been dating for three months but decided to tie the knot at Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas. The Hollywood A-list couple ended up being married for 11 years, although their divorce was finalised in 2000.
However, the pair remain friends as they co-parent three children.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker
‘Kravis’ had their own Las Vegas wedding although, for a fame-hungry couple, they barely had anyone in attendance aside from an Elvis impersonator.
The couple dated for nine months before Barker proposed on the beachfront at Nobu Malibu in October 2021. Kardashian and Barker then eloped to Las Vegas after attending the Grammy Awards ceremony.
Kravis may not have gotten legally married, but they certainly looked like they had a lot of fun at the One Love Wedding Chapel.
Britney Spears and Jason Alexander
The couple briefly married at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in 2004. However, ‘wedded bliss’ didn’t last long as the marriage was annulled after just 55 hours!
The childhood friends had a 4am wedding but, according to the Daily Mail, were forced by Britney’s management to have an annulment. However, in hindsight, Britney seems to have agreed.
Britney told E! News, via ABC: “It was me being silly, being rebellious, and not really taking the responsibility of what I was doing. And, after partying, you really don’t think about what you’re doing. So it was one of those things – we were really silly.”
Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton
Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton got married at Little Church Of The West after being together for just two months. The couple met on the set of the movie Pushing Tin, in which Angelina played Billy Bob’s wife.
At the ceremony on 5 May 2000, Jolie wore a grey vest top and jeans and held a bouquet of flowers whereas Thornton wore a baseball cap and shirt. Their divorce was finalised in 2003 and Angelina maintained full custody of the child they were adopting, Maddox.
Lily Allen and David Harbour
The couple married in Vegas in 2020 and shared pictures of the nuptials on their Instagram accounts.
The ceremony involved Allen’s daughter as flower girl while their wedding meal was an In-N-Out burger. Perfection.
