Callie was born in September 1989 to parents Kristen Rivers and NBA head coach, Doc Rivers.
Callie’s older brother, Jeremiah Rivers, played college basketball at Georgetown University.
Speaking to The Undefeated about his sister marrying his former teammate, Austin said: “Seth has found a good girl. My family got a good guy. There is so much familiarity. It’s a very easy fit.”

Seth Curry joins the Philadelphia 76ers
It was announced today that Seth Curry, Callie Rivers Curry’s husband, was transferring from the Dallas Mavericks to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Interestingly, this is the team that Doc Rivers, Callie Rivers Curry’s dad, is the head coach of.
Setting aside the family relationship between Rivers and Curry off the court, Curry fills a desperate need for Philadelphia as a well-accomplished three point shooter.
Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey told reporters: “Getting Seth – you can argue for him as the best shooter in the NBA – was really exciting.”
As well as this, Seth’s brother is Stephen Curry, who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors.
Callie Rivers Curry’s dad, Doc Rivers
Doc Rivers is well-known both as a former NBA player and now as a head coach. He finished his playing career in 1996 with the San Antonio Spurs and moved into coaching.
Since then, he has coached Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers. He was hired as head coach by the Philadelphia 76ers in October 2020.
